              This book looks at the role of prophecy in religion. Many of the religions in the series rely on prophecy.

Patton, K. C. (2009). Religion of the gods: Ritual, paradox, and reflexivity. Oxford: Oxford University Press.

           Helping to understand rituals and how they are embedded and a part of religion because of the many rituals performed in the book series.
